TomTom Rider 500: Cannot sync routes

Using plan.tomtom I cannot sync routes. I only have one Tomtom account and I am successfully logged into it.

When I use MRA to "get" the routes into my Rider 500, the routes on the Rider are not exactly the same as per the route on the map so I am now trying to sync the routes using plan.tomtom.

Very frustrating.
