I have TomTom Rider 2 and I get a "poor GPS reception" message and it won't find any satellites.
I went to the GPS Status page and the little icon in upper corner isn't spinning.

That's not a good sign. Have you tried a reset of the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless that model has a dedicated reset hole? Might help....

Is the machine supposed to be turned on or off, when I poke a paper clip into the little hole for 20 seconds to reset it?

I'd recommend doing it while it's turned on. That gives you a better indication that the reset is happening.

I tried the reset, I tried Updating it at TomTom Home, I talked to TomTom on the phone and got no solutions.
Does anyone know of a repair service or anyone that is handy and can get this finding satelites again?
