TomTom plus, iPhone, and the SDK release.

Let me state from the start that I'm a theologian by trade- so most of this stuff is a bit out of reach for me. As I understand it- from reading the forums- the iphone is not able to be used to do tomtom traffic, etc- but can do hands free on some of the units. With Apple releasing the software developers kit for the iphone could any of that change, or is it a hardware/hard-wired issue that is not likely to resolve at all?

It's most likely network restrictions as with Verzions PDA's and Tethering. You need to pay an extra fee a month to do it. Some lucky have reported that they can do it without, most likely not updated area or just lucky =p
