TomTom ONE maps installation

Hi,
I have TomTom ONE with Europe maps installed on its memory card
I have just bought DVD with US and canada maps , how do I install it moving it to a memory card?

The easiest way would probably be to have a second card for your new maps.

Note that with the one units the operating system AND the maps have to be installed on the card. Using a file manager set to see "all files and folders" just copy the entire contents of the tomtom to the new card except for your europe map folder. then from the cd copy the new map folder onto the card. I'm assuming the files on the CD are not cabinet files. If they are, you need a file manager that can see inside cabinet files.

everything should then work. you might be asked for the codes for the new maps when you start things up.

I wasn't aware they had TT maps on CD for updating. Is it the latest 8.25 or what?
