TomTom One III When is it in stores?

After SD-Card upgrade

After I did an upgrade of my SD-Card and REINSTALLED (Not restored) the app and maps... my ONE is showing up as "ONE (v3)" in HOME.... odd!!!

True, but the link I provided was updated February 8 to include some pics and other tidbits of interest.... one of which is NO sd card is included since it has 1gb of internal memory. Wonder what this means for people who try to use a 2gb sd card for NA maps?

Also of interest is the navteq maps, but that's probably just the European version.

It's not the SD-card it's the new version of Home or the new firmware.....

Check this out... my ONE thinks it's a V3 after my SD-Card upgrade! Straight from HOME ---> Help ----> Configuration Info

I have the original SD card installed and just completed an update of both Home to 1.5 and the new 6.56 firmware. Mine now says V3 also, so it's not the SD card...

Just prior to the update it was still showing V2. Not sure which was actually the culprit as they both happened sequentially ......

I don't think the V3 label has anything to do with anything, it's just a text label (device_id for Windows)

So if I upgrade...and I use that term loosely... to Vista... thinkit will ask me 12 times if I want to connect to my TT and then it will say v4? :D

Vista's new security feature:

battom requests permission to connect tt ONE, allow or deny

:) :) :)

(have you seen this commercial?)
