Hello All:

I recently bought my Tom Tom One and am trying to use it with my Samsung SGH D807. I am aware that this model is not supported. Just wanted to find out if there is any way to work around this...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I have everything working on my 720 GO and my Samsung SGH D807 except the SMS send/receive piece. Traffic/Weather/Hands Free/Phonebook all work - Some of this may work with the ONE.

You need the ATT/Cingular data plan for the phone. Once you have that, I recommend setting up weather since it is a free service prior to buying the traffic plus service.

When you set up the phone to work with the TT it should time out eventually and give you the option to set it up manually. Not sure I have the order correct but here were my answers:

Once the phone is paired, it should find Hands-free calling, Wireless Data Connection, and Phonebook. Go in to the phone now and under bluetooth - my devices, select the tomtom and authorize it so you won't have to keep ok'ing the connections from the tomtom.
Setup the wireless connection:
Choose United States
Cingular Wireless for the provider
Manual Setup
Access Point: delete anything in this area
Username: (e-mail address removed)
Password: CINGULAR1
Choose Automatic for IP Address
Choose Automatic for DNS
Number to dial: *99#
Login Script: leave the default, which should be
at+cgdcont=1,"IP","isp.cingular"

I think these settings also work if you chose AT&T wireless as the provider.

I know this is a very late reply to your post, but it might help someone in the future. ymmv.
