TomTom Home side by side configuration is incorrect

I get the message, 'Application failed to start because the side by side configuration is incorrect.' How do I correct the side by side configuration? Thanks

Do you have Vista? Googling that phrase turns up many hits and some supposed solutions (pertaining to an incorrect .dll or something). A look at Event viewer-->Applications will probably show you reference to the error.

Think you need to call TT Support for this.

Error Side-by-side configuration

It is Vista. I called TomTom, they said to call Microsoft. It's an operating system problem. I'm not going to pay for that. I was hoping someone on here has had the same problem. Thanks. I'll look into that.
