On App store as an 'update' but appears to be for 'Trucks'. No mention of any new features for regular cars. I don't drive a truck. Anyone know anything?
Rumour about Amigo replacing the regular 'Go' app. Amigo lacks the Route Bar and, I believe, MyPlaces, etc.
This is the first update since April.

Yea Go is slow to update, there was an update a month ago or so but maybe it was for trucks, nothing new on the car side as you say. I'm not convinced Amigo will replace Go as I can't see the truckers liking it, and as you say it hasn't got the route bar like Go has. My Amigo has just renamed it's self to TomTom a few weeks ago, but I think that's all it's changing and the go app will stay. There's been a lot of confusion around it all, I'm sure I read something from TomTom about the Amigo app changing but the. Online forums started saying it was the new go app, so chuff knows. If go did change, watch I don't think it will do, I'd have to think what I would use as I do like some of the new features in Amigo, but as an over all package I've never really warmed to it

There have always been two subscriptions, one for cars and one for trucks.

That's been like that for a very long time, that's nothing new

After the new update to 3.6.291-beta, I no longer get a speed indication on Android Auto. It's still visible on my phone, where an exclamation mark appears if I exceed the speed limit. Have you experienced this too?

I could understand if it was a new version or there was significant new functionality but basically there has been no change in TomTom Go for years. It's just a pointless bit of marketing when TomTom refuse to address issues like the bizarre mispronunciation of place names that has been present for many years.

The strange pronunciation of place names especially foreign ones are a source of amusement for me on a journey.
