tomtom go 550 digitiser replacement

Hi All !!
Desperate help from a newbie.. I need to change the digitizer for my tomtom go 550. I have managed to partly disasemble it up to the point where I have removed the 2 side panels, and pried the two halfs on the unit apart. I got hold of a disigtizer form ebay for my TT.
I am unfortunatly stuck now. I have no idea on how to remove the lcd from the front part to be able to replace the digitizer. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ahh.... when I saw the title of your post, I was going to reply to say that although the digitiser is available from eBay on it's own, I would think a better bet is to buy the whole screen assembly (for about ?30 in the UK).

that way, it's a simple ribbon cable to swap over.

But I see you've already bought the part.
Can't help, I'm afraid...
