I apologise for the quality of these pictures. They were taken in very low light during a ferry crossing from Bainbridge Island into downtown Seattle. The bobbing motion of the ferry also didn't help. However, you can see the distinctive Space Needle off to the left side of the images.
An interesting thing about navigating across a ferry route. The nav software wants to follow the published routes (shown as dashed lines) but those routes are just general hints as to where each ferry goes. The ferry of course doesn't follow them exactly. The TomTom however will declare you "offroad" and try to route you back to the nearest road. Sometimes those roads are onshore. So the TT starts telling you to do things like "turn around" or head to an onshore route and then make your way around to the ferry terminal.
