looking to buy tom tom for holiday in italy(sardinia) and also planning to buy new car this year.
witch model would be the best ,looking for second hand one?

Some are LIVE models with a year's worth included and maps of Europe including Italy.

BUT.........

Be aware that TomTom refurbished units are NOT eligible for the Latest Map Guarantee (current version is 905) so they may come with a somewhat older map.
