I've noticed that my tomtom has tons of issues if the PLUS traffic connection is active, and the cell hits a dead zone.

1) The music player often cuts off, and directions return to the internal speakers
2) Sometimes when trying to play a new song after a cutoff, your selected song will appear in the jukebox, but you'll hear a different song over the FM
3) Eventually the Tomtom just freezes and reboots

Does anyone else have this problem? It can be simulated if you're on a non-3G network by making a phone call, as this temporarily halts EDGE data (at least with T-mobile).

My phone is an unsupported RAZR2 V8, which was very hard to pair and set up. I wasn't sure if this is a generic tomtom issue, or something to do with my incompatible phone.

Just providing an update.
This was a problem in app
8.350 that was corrected in
app 8.351.

Well it's happening in app 8.351 again, I'm still trying to isolate the issue as I think it's due to me leaving the FM transmitter off for a few weeks and turning it back on recently.

So this crash occurs if:
1) You use bluetooth data
2) You have the FM transmitter enabled (doesn't need to be playing a song, but if you're playing a song the tomtom goes music - berserk before ultimately dying)
3) The phone hits a dead zone.

I've looked around, and I'm seeing many other posts about similar issues when making a call. I suspect people thought that "calling" was the culprit, when in probably was the fact that CDMA phones and non-3G GSM phones cut off the data while calling.

See this link and this link.
