My tomtom 950 go keeps on restarting every 2-3 mins it will not start. Help please

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds

This couldn't be the mapshare PoI error problem could it? Can't remember how to remove them - is it via Home?
