TomTom 720 - Car Preferences - grey'd out

Hi,

Under what circumstances will the "Car Prefrences" icon be available?

Undocked from the computer it is grey'd out and it is also unavailable when in the car and using the unit.

It is on page 6 of 8 in the setup prefrences.

Any idea what it does?

Im sure it was meant to be similar to the Car Direct Connect Accessory TomTom was going to make for the x10 series but got pulled off. It would be simliar to linking the night and day views with your car lights. No further word yet.

Pedro is right, looking at the handbook, that icon is for car integration, so would work with light switch and muting the car radio
