Tomtom 720 and Blackberry 8800

I have a GO720 and a blue tooth BB8800. The TT finds the bluetooth ok but offers an error when checking the BB after that.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I have checked TT site and the only one listed is the 8100 curve.
