TomTom 700 - Not working - Please help

Hi,

Bought a TT 700 about 3 months ago. Love it. Plugged wrong car lighter adapter and now screen does not turn on any more. I only get the green light at bottom.

Does anyone know if there is fuse that could be replace to fix this?

I was not even able to find any screws to open it up. Does anyone know how to un-assemble the unit?

Any help is appreciated.

The green light suggests that it isn't fried.

Did you try a reset with a paperclip? (my old standby!)

Did, but nothing happens. Any idea on how to open it up? Not that I know what to look for, but figured it might be something obvious.

Have you tried charging it with the AC adapter for a few hours before doing the paper clip reset?

They won't support it because I did not buy directly from them.

Tried it, still nothing. The light stays on, blank screen.

Still don't know how to open it up.
