TomTom Model(s)
550
Hi,

When my tomtom 550 is connect to the headset on my helmet helmet,
I cannot adjust the volume.

There doesn't seem to be any volume adjustment on the tomot when I'm connected to the Bluetooth headset.

If I disconnect the headset then the volume adjustment bar does appear on the quick adjustment but when I connect the headset back up then it disappears and I have no option to adjust the volume.

Toggling the volume adjuster on the headset makes no difference.

Anyone know how I can adjust the volume before I go deaf??

Thanks

Hi
If you tap the center panel of the status bar in Driving Mode and move the slider to adjust the volume, should it change the volume?

Unfortunately in the 550 the volume is only accessible from the quick settings where there is a slider for the volume.

Anyhow I got it sorted!

So I hadn't adjusted the volume on my headset until I changed helmets. With my old helmet I remembered that to adjust the volume you had to go to the quick settings menu on the TomTom and use the slider there.

Unbeknown to me in the meantime there seems to have been an update from TomTom where the volume can be adjusted from the wheel on my BT headset. While they seem to have enabled that function, they removed the old way of adjusting the volume I mentioned. Odd, one would have thought they would have kept that option as well.

At least I figured it out now I wish they would do an update where you can see the percentage battery you have left and not just have to guess from the battery bar on-screen.
