Tomtom 520 pro Data wont stay connected.
It will work fine if connected through my phones Mobile Hot-spot but not through Bluetooth. I have reset my device, changed my account and tried different phones but will not stay connected through Bluetooth. Any advice much appreciated

I assume you're connected via Bluetooth?

Have you tried connecting it via your phone's Wi-Fi?

I also have problem with bluetooth, but it's working well with WiFi.

For some reason, after all these years, different companys' Bluetooth stacks still sometimes don't play well together.

I've been using the WiFi hotspot connection instead for some years now with several phones and several different TomTom devices, and find it to be very reliable. Why TomTom has always touted the use of Bluetooth first, I've never understood. It's the least stable of the two options.

TomTom Support has updated the FAQ.

Now, "Connecting your TomTom device to the internet via Wi-Fi" is highlighted on the TomTom website.

Yes, that's good if someone goes online to the FAQ system at TomTom, but the old device manuals all gave preference to Bluetooth connections.
