Tomtom 330 XLS wont connect to Satellites?

I am always having constant problems with my unit connecting to the Satellites, so I am always resorting to my Phone as my GPS the last couple days.

Can anyone give me some tips to try to fix this?

I have updated everything, got the new Tom Tom Home and went through the updates for the unit already.

I had the same problem with both of my XL 340.s and when I updated on-line, I was noticing that I was not getting GPS Quick Fixes any longer. This is what I did, at the recommendation of member "DHN"...fixed my issue and hopefully will fix your's:

1. On your TomTom, delete the contents of the "ephem" folder (using Explorer)
2. Delete the subfolders in the "ephemeris" folder on your computer found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\ephemeris

Now, connect to Home and try the update again...when I did, I then saw a "GPS Quick Fix" update and once I installed it, I would connect to the satellites within seconds. I've been getting around 2 or 3 GPS Quick Fix downloads a week now.
