Tomtom 2nd gen map color menu item Superior/Expert Plus

I have noticed the newest Superior and Expert Plus have a map color menu item (not to be confused with the map theme item).

Is this to change from classic to light maps (if not what are the selections)? Has anyone experienced the light map or other choice(s)? If so, are the lower level streets easier to see with the new choice(s)?

Is this change also available in the Camper Max 2nd generation?

Yes, it's on Camper Max too. I didn't test it, though

I haven't tried it with my motorhome yet, so I don't know if it will use the dimensions to guide me along the right roads, but I like how clear the screen and the instructions are, and the fact that it detects slowdowns and suggests ways to avoid them without forcing you to do so.

Being able to use your computer and plan.tomtom to calculate routes with waypoints and add destinations is a real bonus.

I also tried its Garmin equivalent, which offers many more options but whose interface, in my opinion, is a generation behind...

The Tomtom traffic and traffic spatial display has it all over Garmin. Thank you for the info.
