Just wondering if anyone knows if Tom Tom issue sea maps? I was thinking of the option of using my One XL to help me navigate some dive sites within Moreton Bay.
I know I can input co-ordinates of known dive sites, reefs and wrecks etc.. It should work as is.
Surely there is a way to do this without purchasing a Garmin GPS with maps etc...
Tom Tom could be more versatile. Can anyone clue me up on this subject?
Where there is a will there should be a way.

Afraid that TomTom, being a road based product, produces no maps that are for off-road or for waterways.

Try looking for "off road navigator" it's third party software that can run on your TomTom, if you have paper marine maps scan them and add them as tiles so the device will show your position on the marine map downside is the amount of messing around to create the map tiles and associated calibration file, done properly though it works very well - Mike
