Tom Tom iPhone car kit

Hi, i bought the Tom Tom iPhone car kit and have set it up to hear the navigation via the car speakers but when a phone call comes through the conversation is not relayed in the car speakers. Should i be able to hear it through the car speakers?if so how can I fix this?

The car holder will not route the phone conversation via the car speakers so your unit is working as intended. If you want the phone conversation via the car speakers invest in something like a Parrot or iO-Play unit - Mike
