TomTom Model(s)
6000 Go
Im a newby, so please excuse me if Im in the wrong place, i have had to delete some of my maps, due to space,or so tom tom said, Can I, at some stage get the maps back, as I have life time maps,
I update on my pc, but no idea if all the euro maps will still be on my PC, thanks for any help ,

Yes, you will be allowed to swap maps and zones of maps on and off your unit using MyDrive as your plans require. The addition of a uSD card can also be used to alleviate such problems.

Thank you so much, when I get another card .do I just place it into my tomton for updates of maps? sorry to be a bit dumb ,never had a sat nav update before

I would get a 16 GB class 10 brand name card, they have been relatively inexpensive.

Those microSD cards usually come with an SD card carrier. Put it in the slot PC and format it as FAT32, not NTSC. Then put it in the slot at the bottom of your GO 6000 with the contacts facing away from the screen. (That is really the only way it will fit.). At power up the device will detect the card and ask if you want to format it. Say yes, and you are in business.

These cards *normally* come from the factory with FAT32 formatting, so if you place it directly into the TomTom, it will *probably* ask you fairly quickly if you want to allow the TomTom to do its own special format. That's important for those out there that don't have uSD card slots on their PCs.
