Tom Tom 4en52 - entering address lists

Hi

Just got a Tom Tom 4en52 very happy!

But I need to input loads of addresses but need to write where they are- ie put an address in and when saved write ' office' or customer etc?

Is this possible?

You may be able to use this tool:

http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/geocoder/

and then convert results to a gpx file and THEN use GPSBabel (link is at top of the link I provided) to convert to a file that TomTom uses ....... but it all seems like lots of work.

You may have to bite the bullet and Add favourites one by one on your unit using your address file. You can rename a location to 'office' or something like that BUT it will be the renamed ('office') that shows and NOT the actual address, just so you know.

I would think so, if you can "Add Favorite," "Address" etc.
At the end of those inputs I think you should have the option to "Enter a name for this Favorite" . . .
