looking to buy a tom tom 2535 traffic receiver. Alternatively I'd like to know where I can buy one in Vancouver, Canada

You'd need the receiver with the magnetic connector. You won't find any in a big box store.

It's this one you need BUT it's shown as available only on the US site, not Canada.

You can try calling CS at 866-486-6866 and see if they can help but make sure they understand for what model you need it.
