Time to update

Looks like BP but very blurred. Was sold as UK & Free Lifetime Europe Maps & Bluetooth

There are 8 models of via 130/135 but there are only 2 models that map them for life.

BP (aka 4EQ5.001.02) would be a decent choice with 8GB of memory. It's known by different 'names' in different markets. In Europe, they call it the Via 135. Here in North America, they called it the Via 1535 (I have one of those here, though it's a 4GB version). In Aus/NZ, they called it the Via 280.

Thats interesting, thanks

Please note that via 1535 is via 280, not a pre-installed map of Europe but a USA/Canada/Mexico map.

The 135 gets you a European map. The 280 gets you the Aus/NZ map. The 1535 gets you the North American map.
That's why I noted the differences in regional naming, above. Someone in the UK wouldn't want to pick up a 1535 unless they were interested in using it only here or buying a European map!

So my VIA 135 arrived today and I updated the maps and GPS with My Connect.
Went to install speed camera db and found that file explore on my Win 11 PC would not display internal file structure of the TT.
Disaster as the only reason I changed TT was to update the map and use with my db.
Can anyone help me get access to the TT internal file structure.

Not going to happen. The file system was shut down a long while back.

That said, if your speed cam database is an *.ov2 file, that's no problem. Those can be added to your 135 using MyDrive Connect's "Community Content" feature. Right click the MyDrive icon in the lower right of your screen... assuming you've installed it, of course.

Just tried that and no good. Don't seem to find the Community Content feature.
is there no way to access the file structure?

Have you installed MyDrive Connect on your computer?
Your GPS must be connected to your computer.
Click the TomTom icon in the bottom right corner next to the clock.

No. You won't be getting access to the file system.

You need MyDrive Connect up and running.
In the lower right of your screen, in the systray, look for this icon

It may or may not have the dot in the upper right corner.

Right click on that.
You should see this. Select "Manage community content"

Again - we're all assuming your 'database' is in *.ov2 format. You have not confirmed that.

OGG files will no install, these are the sound files go go with the OV2 files I have just installed
So without access to the file structure the units are no good to me. As there will be no warning when approaching speed cameras
Looks like i will have to stay with the old TT One and the old maps

Are you using this feature from MyDrive Connect? Works fine for me.

As noted, the largest *.ogg you can upload is 250KB.

If yours are larger, you may need to do some work on them to slim them down a bit.
