Hello,
I have filed a map issue in MapShare on November 15 that has already been fixed.
Since it has been fixed the maps on TomTom Go app have been updated twice but the map issue is still there.
How long it usually takes for a map issue to go from MapShare to the actual maps?
Thanks
Gianni

Maps for many of the Tomtom devices are usually released four times a year: Feb; May; Aug; Nov.

So perhaps February 2023 as November's map (1100) was just released a couple of weeks ago.

I have not made any MS corrections since using the gonav beta app but in the past some local changes in MS have shown as accepted within a week and shown in the next map update.
Have you checked if map updates are available on your phone.

Hi dhn and Arno, thanks for your replies.
dhn, I am using the TomTom Go App on Android. Not a TomTom device. Updates are more frequent than once every few months.
Arno, yes I am checking for updates every day. And, as I mentioned in my initial message, the maps were updated twice since the change was accepted in MapShare.
Thanks
Gianni

@gbragante
The TT online map has been updated weekly for a few months. As soon as your changes are visible, the process will take eight weeks to the GONav map.

@mapfanatic , thanks for the info.
So I will expect the change on the map after January 7. That's a lot.
Another thing that I have noticed is that temporary road closures appear on the map much faster.
Since the issue that I have reported is about a non-existing road connection, wouldn't have been more effective to mark it as a temporary closure while waiting for the map update? Is there a way users can report a road to be closed immediately?

The reported road is in a city where I go every week and I have to use Waze only to go there because TomTom is proposing an impossible path.

Thanks
Gianni

Temporary road closure information is delivered via Live traffic data which is why they appear quickly compared to changes to the map itself.
