Time limit?

I have the TT Rider (model# 4GD00) and after planning out an itinerary and programming it into the unit, I try to see the the route using the "Demo" capability but after showing it (correctly) for a while the screen suddenly changes to the starting point and begins again.

It's very frustrating to sit there, watching the route unfold, only to have the unit suddenly go back to the start, after 15 minutes, or so, and never get to see the end of the itinerary and if it has been programmed correctly.

Is there a time limit on the "Demo" capability and,if so, can I lengthen it?

As I remember, for older devices, the demo just went for 50 miles (or something like that) and then went back to the beginning. I don't know whether this is the same problem with yours. If it is, I don't think there is a way to modify the duration.

IIRC on NAV3 devices they had increased the distance to 80 miles (around 130 km for me).

Make a route 90 miles from start (just a destination) to test.

Doesn't help you but at least the aggravation from trying over and over again is gone.
