:( I sent in a post of a continueing problem I was having with my TT 1535TM but unless I'm the only one experiencing the problem no one was able to give me a solution or to confirm the problem.
My computer says there's a download waiting by showing the blue arrow pointing down. I download the item and the red hands hands icon comes on for a few seconds and then turns back to the blue download arrow.
The new download is the same download as the previous and the blue download arrow never goes away.
Any Suggestions????

What's the download it's showing? That might help others to recognise if it's a common issue

The new download is the same download as the previous one
Unplug your device, close the MyDrive browser tab.
Connect your device, click the icon in the tray (red or blue), click the blue MyDrive to open a new browser tab.
Once open, click on My Content. The top line of icons will tell you what it wants to download.
If it is MapShares, ignore as they sometimes go funny.
Just disconnect your device and get on with things.

After opening MyDrive, My Content, I usually download OS updates, maps, safety cams, QuickGPSfix and MapShares in that order. I remove the check mark from all others and only dowmload/install one item at a time.

As written above it is Map Share Community this time of 3.7 MB that repeats itself as a new downoad repetedly.
What I find funny is when I click the blue arrow download the installing on computer bar does nothing, the supposed download goes straight to installing to device and after supposedly downloading, the blue download arrow reappears.

Only 'larger' items are cached on the computer, and then, only if you have the setting enabled to do so. I'm not sure what the threshold is for size that triggers it, though 3.7MB won't be cached.

One thing for certain - when the next map release comes out, that big Mapshare download should go away. If it doesn't, that means it's 'stuck' on TomTom's server and you'd actually have to call and ask them to kill that job.

Thanks for the help!

One exception I've noted. The ephemeris files (QuickGPSFix or whatever they used to call it) files can be cached even though they're small - only 61KB! Not sure why.

If you are curious to see what is being stored, it might be useful for you to take a peek at C:\Documents and Settings\{yourname}\Local Settings\Application Data\TomTom\HOME3\cache
Understand that some of the drill down will be through 'hidden' folders, so those will need to be visible.
You'll see a number of numbered series files there. The file called cache-status.xml shows what the activity has actually been, and what the content of the files is.
