Syncing Routes not working.

Can anyone advise?

If I add a new route via the plan route webpage it syncs to my sat nav instantly with no issues.

However if I record a new route on my sat nav it does not sync up to my plan route page. The only work around I have is to save it to a SD card on my sat nav, then plug the sd into my computer and then upload it to my plan route page.

Anyone know if I’m missing something, I have checked every setting and searched all over the internet and can’t find anything on this.

I am logged into my account on both the website and on my sat nav. I have a Go 620.

Yeah, TomTom route syncing is crap and very frustrating when it could so easily have been made so useful and flexible.
Create a route online and it will sync the track (i.e. the exact step by step course but not your waypoints and stops) to the device.
If you want the waypoints and stops you've set online on your device (so it can route around live traffic updates if connected to your phone and so that you can edit it during the day) you have to find the "send stops to device" button, which only appears after editing the route, and then manually save it once it's on the device (else it's only in memory and very easy to lose).
If you record a ride on your TomTom, the only way to extract the track is by exporting to an SD card on the device.
Most stupid of all; if you create a route on your TomTom, there is no way at all to extract or export it.
