Startup & Shutdown Images?

I made the 24bit bmp image, but how do I get it on my TomTom? The instructuions say to replace the existing file in the root of my unit but it doesn't say how you do this?
Also, how do I add images to the list on TomTom Home so others can use it?

Use Windows Explorer to copy the image to the drive letter associated with the device, as for sharing via Home I have no idea as I refuse to use crap software - Mike
