Start 62 touchscreen unresponsive.

Was using my TomTom today, switched it off and then turned it on about 45mins later only to find that the touchscreen isnt responsive at all.

Power buttons fine but cant do anything when it powers up.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

At least the power button works. About all we can try is a reset:

So you don't have access to the Settings menu?

Try pressing the power button until you hear the drum sound and the device restarts.

Once is boots up the touchscreen is unresponsive so cant access any menu options. Ive done the reset and even updated the software using MyDrive Connect and still nothing.

I just tried this twice and still no response on the touch screen

Could be your touch screen is just knackered. It does happen, though usually not so abruptly.

You'd need to check on your side of the pond, but prices here are cheap ...

Thanks, Yeah I figured that out, ordered a replacement screen from China so will update once its delivered and fitted.

So, to give you an update. Replacement screen arrived today, fitted it myself which was easy enough and everythings back to normal now. Even a much brighter clearer screen. Thanks all
