spoken directions on 510

    am I missing a fuciton or doesn't the 510 offer spoken street names when you are supoosed to turn?? I mean my old gps wich was a mio even did that, I don't think they make those anymore do they?? LOL

    Of the x10 range only the 910 offered the ability to read out road names using the Text To Speech system as the files required to support this were around 4GB in size so only the 910 with its 20GB hard drive was capable of holding them!
    Your 510 will still call out the turn left/ turn right etc but won't read the road names or place names - Mike

    Ok well thanks, thats really strange to me that the old mio does it and it doesn't have much memory, o well LOL
