Software tweaks on the GO x30 range

TomTom, the market-leading sat nav specialists, has added some interesting software tweaks to its GO x30 range of satnav devices.

The successor to the company?s GO x20 range has had a few software updates that should make the driving/navigating process that little bit easier.

you mean IQ routes and lane guidance? They're not bad. IQ routes slowly work over time as whoever drives that road. Its all based on driving speeds at certain times of the day and so on. Lane guidance is honestly for ideots, your not missing out on much.

Besides, the X30 series are the exact same as the X20 series cept for software which will be coming out soon (nav 8)

IQ routes is NOT based on the times of the day but workdays or weekend. It does not take account if it is 8:00 or 20:00.

Advanced lane guidance consists of 2 features: arrows for each traffic lanes with directions they point to, located in the lower left side of the screen, and reality view which is a static image resembling a photograph of the more complex highway ?splits?. The coverage is not extensive at the moment and some users are wondering if there are any in their cities.
