Hello,

I have built a bunch of routes on TT MyDrive for an upcoming motorcycle trip that will pop up in my TT Go app. Thing is I'd like them to pop up in my friend's TT Go app too. Any ideas how best to do this. I have 9 routes and would like them to be available rather than having to share one at a time.

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried the "Share Route" option at the https://mydrive.tomtom.com/en_gb route planner?

Several sharing options are made available.

Yes! It seems that this a one at a time option. I'd rather just share the my routes folder!

They would need to log into your account to have full access to your full route collection. Perhaps create a 'joint' account for all to share?

Thanks.

I'm guessing if I'm logged into my account and using the app, then they can't log in using my credentials and use their app independently!?

The 'joint account' sounds interesting. I've not come across this. I don't want a 12 month 'family subscription' though. Can you please tell me more. Thanks

I'm still not clear about how the 'family subscription' thing works. Perhaps others can come up with something. That said, the various means for exporting individual routes at least provides some decent utility.

TomTom account where favorites and routes are kept is independent to google account where subscription is kept. So you can have joint account (you are logging to it in apk) for sharing your routes without the problem of many subscriptions or family subscription

Hello and thanks for the reply. Does that mean buy the subscription separately then log in with same account? Can the app then be used at the same time by the 2 different people (signed in as one)? If that makes sense? Thanks

Hi
On Android, there is no family subscription.
2 solutions either you share the file as @canderson says or the 2nd person must log in to your account with the same credentials of your account.

Thanks. Happy to sign in on 2 devices just not sure I'll be able to use both devices at the same time?

Thanks I suppose I was wondering if I can log in and use 2 android devices at the same time? ie the same route in each!?

You only need to be logged in long enough to snag the data. Having done so, it should remain resident on the device. The user could then return to their own account, and the data should sync to their own cloud account for future reference as well.
