TomTom Model(s)
GO Superior 6"
Hi,

I am a Tomtom customer for many years and used different devices. Currently I am using a GO Superior 6". One thing that sometimes worked better, sometimes worked not so good is the automatic zoom, e.g. based on road type. The setting for this seems not adjustable and so I frequently am quite anoyed when on a highway the display covers only the road and perhaps a few hundred meter (at least feels like that) left and right. But when driving for some time on a highway I would like to zoom out to see the names of the villages and cities nearby, allowing me to see the travel progress and where I currently am on the map.
And yes, I know that I can zoom out manually, but this stops the automatic zoom function from being active and even when leaving the highway then the zoom will not go back into automatic mode and will not change anymore.
It would in such manual case better that the automatic zoom will not be stopped, but that keeps running in the background and kicks back in again as soon as the road type changes - even when it was zoomed out manually. Perhaps it could even remember the last manually made correction for each road type...

Does Tomtom see a technical opporunity to allow and to program pereferred customer settings for the automatic zoom functions and then include this into a future software update?

There is only the as usual completely useless and annoying, indeed brainless chat boot which appears to have the task to drive away customers. No e-mail. Or do you perhaps have a customer support e-mail address?
