Seriously Upset & Angry at deceit over lifetime map offer

I have today bought a Brand new tom tom Rider V5 Premium @£330.00 with Lifetime maps as advertised.
I expected that maps would auto update via tomtom home.
Instead I'm being asked to pay again.
Connecting the device I find the maps on the device are three years old !!!
and that the promotion ended in June 2015.
I'm now asked for another £60 to update the maps.
Outrageous, scandalous & missleading - so angry!
