Selling 540TM LifeTime Map Edition, map ownership/transfer question...

Hello all, new TomTom 540TM XXL owner here.

I was wondering if I sold the unit, how does the lifetime map ownership work? Would the new owner have access to the lifetime map updates?

The new owner would have to have access to the email address used for the account. They can then change the email to what they want in the account settings.

Pretty sure thats how it works, perhaps another member can verify.
