sd card from one TT into another, work?

will it work to put an SD card from one TT into a different TT?

I don't own two TT devices but I would have to say no, only because the maps are tied to a single device and if you try to access it, I would assume that either prompt you for a activation code or won't work at all.

If it's an original TomTom card, it just might work. But if you make a copy on another SD card, then you will definitely be asked for an activation code.

It will work only if it is an original TT SD card. If you installed a map, or copied the original, onto another SD card it won't work without activation.
