Can a 2 Gig Sd card with data stored with fat 32 bit file system be used in any later model Tom Tom GPS units ?

For later models, I suspect so. That said, more and more recent models don't even have a sd card slot available.

Not all have slots, but even for those that do, beware: they've changed to micro SD on some of the more recent units. If it is actually an SD, not a micro SD in an adapter, your new "Truck" card would fit into a 730 OK, for example, but not the 740.
