screen will not go past this device belongs to

My tom tom starts up but I cannot get past the this "device belongs to" screen it has a continue which just takes me back to the startup information screen.

Had it been working properly at one time? Do you remember any changes you might have made? Do you have a backup?

And, have you tried a reset on the unit (holding the power button for about 10 seconds?)

I've seen this in demo models in stores. It can be fixed by a device reset (see here). Then you should update to the latest app where this hopefully doesn't happen.
