Screen Problem on my GO 740

Please help anyone can you tell me If my tomtom don't work or something else my screen have line across you can see everything but the colors are gone only lines can some one help

Have you done a reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless your model has a dedicated reset hole?

... and it doesn't. The 20 second hold until the drums and logo appear are the ticket for a 740.

Is this a series of lines all the way down the screen.?
I had this with a GO720. It was the screen I'm afraid.:sad:

If you decide it is the screen at fault, they are usually avaiable on eBay. If you get the combined "Screen and Digitiser" it's a bit more expensive, but a LOT easier to fit.
If you just get the screen, you need to do some surgery to fit it to the existing digitiser (touch screen) panel.
