Why does TomTom, unlike Magellan or Garmin not have an option to auto-clear routes after arrival? I have to scroll through several screens to clear my route after arrival, otherwise the screen keeps recalculating routes and the voice also.
My 720 clears the route after I've reached my destination. If I've set the destination slightly incorrectly, it recalculates just as I would expect. How would the device know that you hadn't made a wrong turning instead of arriving near your chosen destination?
And I'm sure "Clear Route" is on the second screen although I haven't got the device with me to check..
Fore example, on all map versions I've had, TomTom 'thinks' my Home is about 7 houses away from the real location.
So, if I've set the unit to Navigate to Home and pull into my own driveway instead of someone I don't know on the street (TT's 'Home' location), then I never reach my destination.
