Route will not sync to device

I am trying to sync my route in plan.tomtom to my Rider 500 device. Its a gpx file and is uploaded to my account on computer but when I go on to device there is nothing on my routes. I've tried safari and google chrome browsers. My device is logged in to account. And I had also tried using cable and my drive connect. Any help would be appreciated.

You either have to "sync with device" or Export to device.

Have you tried to sync a location or route to check if your GPS communicates with Plan-Tomtom?
