Route Planning on Go 620

Hi. On my Start 60 sat nav you can plan a route from any location to any destination and then save it to my routes while sitting at home. On my Go 620 you can only plan a route from where ever you are located at the time. Am I missing something Here, ????

I am not into routes but you should be able to do that. This it what I would do:

If Quick search not set already, go Menu > Settings > System, tap Choose a search mode > Quick search.

Go to Menu again, tap Search, enter address, name or a My Places location.

At the popup tap the 3 menu dots, tap Use as Starting Point, tap Menu again, Search for your destination and enter it like the first address.

Tap Drive and the total route will show. Tap Menu > Current Route > Add yo My Routes, tap Add or give it a different name at the data input field.

To test your route, go Menu > My Routes > tap the one just made > Menu > tap Current Route > Play Route Preview and the demo will start running.
Do NOT tap Drive at the top as that will generate a route to destination from your current location.

The device shows total time and distance, runs your route and announces all turns.
To stop the demo tap the X at the right bottom; to delete the demo tap the crossed North West crossed out arrow.
