ex: I want highway 75 sb.

I try hyw din't work
I try 75 din't work.
Highway din't work... grrrr it sould be simple.

What should I write?

not sure what you are asking. are you trying to avoid a certain hwy on the route? if this is your question, then this is your answer. from the navigation screen, touch the bottom right corner, touch the "Find Alternative" button, then touch the "Avoid part of route" button and choose whatever part of the route you want to avoid.

hope this is what you were looking for.

I have a feeling feejo wants just the opposite. In other words, when navigating a route from a to b, make sure that a specific road (or highway) IS included in the routing.

he can still do the same thing using the same procedure, just press the "Travel via" button and then you may have to choose the "Point on a map" button to alter his route, although there are several options for that as well.

sometimes just having the tomtom choose an alternate route will put you on a particular street or road you would rather travel.

if all else fails, then use tyre to plan your route the way you want and then send it to tomtom as an itinerary.
