No matter how perfect an itinerary I prepare, with Maps and Waypoints/Destinations in perfect sync, the "Browse as text - Route Instructions" are completely different and don't reflect the routes, be they 45 miles or 1,000 miles long.

This seems to be a feature that just takes up file space in addition to being confusing.

Anyone else has this experience?

I find the Browse as Text to be very annoying, but not for that reason.

The thing that bothers me, is why can't it just leave me on I-5 for example, instead of showing that I stay on I-5 everytime the road curves, or a major interchange is approached? I would prefer it just leave me on I-5 until I actually *DO* need to change, and show *THAT* change....

I have no problems with Browse by Text but yeah I am annoyed by the same reason mike mentioned.

It treats some of the major curves or certain junctions as a route change so it tells me to continue straight on or curve right.
