Rider 2 Questions

I have a new Rider 2 and so far it's taking some getting used to after years of a Garmin eTrex Vista.

questions -

1) on the Rider 2 when you open the water tight door for the USB, SD card, charging connectors, etc. the SD pops out and disconnects and I have to hold the card in manually if I want to upload/download, etc. - this seems lame.

2) when the charger is plugged in there is no charge indicator light to know 1) if it's charging, and 2) when it's fully charged - this seems lame.

is it supposed to be this way?

If your SD card pops out, you'll want to contact TomTom (Via Phone) and ask for an RMA to get a new unit. Mine does not pop put like that.

There is not a charge indicator, but if you tap the sat signal area (to the right of the screen), you'll see a graphic for the battery level and charging indicator.
