resetting night mode change

just got rolling on my 720 and in the process of testing the features it kept asking me if I wanted to automatically switch to night mode when dark. At some point I said no. Now I cannot get of set back to that option. I can only toggle between the two. How can I get back to having it automatically switch at night?

Change Preferences > Screen 3 of 8 > Brightness preferences > Switch to night view when dark.

The bad part is on my 720 if it is not sunny outside mine used the night mode. If it was cloudy day it used night mode

takes about 4 taps to get to 'switch to daylight' icon, though.

Yes, indeed and that is why I took that auto feature off on mine...

...and with just TWO taps, you can change it to either Night or Day (Quick Menu > N/D Mode)

Appreciate the info. I ended up finding the setting late last night. Although I have to agree that it stays in night mode too much so I will probably just manually switch it when needed.
