Resets after setting Time

My Tom Tom XXL won't get past setting preferences time. As soon as the time is put in it resets itself and starts again. I cannot use the device at all. Any suggestions:sad:

Try resetting the unit by holding the power button about 10 seconds till you hear the drum sounds.

This is done every single time - it shuts down or goes back to the 'choose language' area and then I have no option but to reset. It goes through the motions again, gets to time and then repeats... Reset is no good

Make an Explorer, not Home, backup of the unit's contents. If not sure how, see here:

Then format the unit. Don't use quickformat. Restore the backup.
